Use

An alert iView notifies users of certain critical events.

Typically, alert iViews use status icons or graphics in order to attract attention and guide it to the relevant information.

Look

The alert information should comprise the main part of the iView. Typically, alerts are arranged in tables, but this need not be the case. Alert information can also

  • be arranged in a form-like manner
  • use graphics or charts

If there exists a related Web application (IAC), place a right-aligned button below the table to allow users to call the application.
