On this page, we present an overview of current SAP's UI Guidelines that have been released to the public as well as guidelines that are still valid.
UI Guidelines are critical to ensuring consistency across products and product lines and enhancing the user experience. SAP User Experience designs these guidelines and works with development to ensure they are realized in the SAP NetWeaver platform.

Regarding current guidelines, only the CRM guidelines have been released to the public:
The following SAP UI guidelines for mobile devices have been published on the SAP Service Marketplace (SMP):
They can be accessed through quicklink /uidesign in the Media Library.
Guidelines for SAPGUI applications are no longer explicitly maintained, but
are nevertheless binding for this technology.
They are part of the R/3 documentation and available in the development environment.
As many SAP customers and partners still use older version of SAP software,
there is still a need for providing obsolete SAP UI guidelines.
