This page informs about SAP User Experience, the team at SAP that publishes the SAP Design Guild Website.
Taking the design of SAP's Business Suite, Industry and Business User applications to the next level of design excellence is the core business of SAP User Experience. Interaction designers work in close collaboration with solution management and development to design and develop industry leading applications.
A key initiative within SAP and driven by SAP User Experience is to harmonize the look and feel of SAP's products, driving SAP's strong brand through each product and enhancing the user experience through visual design.
Standards are critical to ensuring consistency across products and product lines and enhancing the user experience. SAP User Experience designs these standards and works with development to ensure they are realized in the SAP NetWeaver platform.
The user-centered design process forms the foundation for SAP User Experience's work and is integrated into SAP's product development lifecycle. Cross-functional collaboration, user validation and design iteration are core to this process.
Building accessible products is important to SAP and its customers. SAP User Experience helps teams comply with regulations globally.
SAP User Experience supports the wider design community with the SAP Design Guild, a public Website for the exchange of ideas on the topic of design. We provide sponsorship for key industry events including CHI, UPA, and World Usability Day.
